I began at MISD with 15 years of nursing experience. I received my RN from Tarrant County College and have spent the majority of my nursing career as a Women's Health nurse, working in Labor and Delivery. I enjoyed being there for each patient and their family through such an important time in their lives. I transitioned to school nursing to become a part of the school family and community that we call home.

I have always enjoyed working with children and spent several years as a teachers aide in a childcare setting and feel like this is the perfect opportunity to assist students with their healthcare needs.

I love to spend my free time with my husband and our 2 girls. I enjoy traveling, camping, being outdoors, all things plants,  and watching our girls on the soccer field and volleyball court. I look forward to an amazing year!
