Hello! My name is Mrs. Jeanette Arnold. This is my seventh year being a part of the Longbranch family. I have spent the last ten years in Midlothian ISD. My Bachelor's and Master's Degrees were obtained from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. I am certified in School Counseling, Reading, Social Studies, Gifted and Talented and Special Education.
Before moving to Texas, I taught Special Education in Ohio. My husband, Andy & I have 3 children. Emma is a PA in Arlington, Ella attends Texas A & M University and Lawrence attends Blinn College. As a family, we enjoy traveling and hiking. My passions include my faith, family, and education.
Counseling Mission Statement
Midlothian ISD Counselors impact the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. School counselors are integral members of the instructional team. They directly impact student achievement by delivering comprehensive services that meet the needs of the 21st century school community.
Counseling Vision Statement
Our students are empowered to achieve success academically, socially, and emotionally to prepare for their future. Character development is an integral part of our day as students focus on practicing empathy, self-direction, teamwork, responsibility, respect, kindness, courage, perseverance, and integrity.
Counseling Services
Classroom Lessons - classroom lessons address personal, social, academic, and career-related needs at the child's developmental level
Individual Counseling - topics are based on the needs of individual students
Group Counseling - students share similar issues or concerns
